Hans Obermayer (ハンス オベルマヤ Hansu Oberumaia?) was the leader of Eylstadt's Schweizen Fortress garrison. After the fortress' fall during the beginning stages of the Germanian invasion, and his subsequent assistance to Finé and Izetta during their escape from Berkman's Task force, he later become a trusted member of Finé's inner circle. He holds the rank of Major.

He wears the standard Elystadt Officer uniform, consisting of a navy-blue blouse, four pockets (compared to the enlisted uniform's 2), white cuffs and marks on the edges of the uniforms, black gaiter boots, and black gloves. He also wears a black equipment belt with a handgun holster, map pouch, and some sort of food pouch. As he is a Major, he has the rank insignia of the officer circle, with a line down the middle, with a single circle at the end.
